I’m Elizabeth Kirk, founder and writer of Our First Cottage. My husband and best friend, Andy, and I purchased our first home this year. We live in our beautiful, quaint cottage in East Nashville with our pug Maggie, who enjoys interesting conversation and long walks on the beach.
I spend a great deal of time scouring blogs, thrift shops, and magazines searching for inspiration and easy DIY projects that can help me transform our new house into a timeless and elegant home. I also find my friends, nature, and conversations over coffee inspiring.
